Activity Description

Detailed itinerary
1. Pick up from accommodation in and around the city (we pick up as far as woodstock and Observatory) If the guests are outside of this range then they will need to make their way to a designated meeting point within the city. Pickup times very between 07:45 – 09:00 depending on the location.
2. Drive to Hout Bay harbour via the Atlantic sea board where the guests Have the option to take a boat cruise to Duiker island (for own account)
3. we will then drive to the start of Chapmans peak where the guests can cycle over the amazing Chapman’s Peak Drive and into Noordhoek.
With the motor on the E bike, this will be easy.
4. Guests will have an opportunity to grab a coffee or look around the noordhoek farmvillage while we load up the E bikes.
5. We Drive to Boulders beach where the guests can choose to go onto the boardwalk (for own account) or see the penguins from Seaforth beach.
6. while the guests are looking at the penguins, the guides will be setting up a homemade picnic lunch by the beach.
This picnic will comprise of: [Subject to availability]
o Indian style curried pasta salad (vegetarian)
o Tuna mayo o Egg mayo o Italian Caprese salad o Greek Tzatsziki (yogurt and cucumber dip)
o Corn chips o Fresh fruit o Assorted cookies o Fresh, quality bread (not normal sliced bread) o Juice
7. While the guests are eating Lunch, the guide will unload the bicycles and the guests will cycle from there to the cape point reserve thus avoiding the potentially long car lines at the gate.
8. There will be multiple regroup and bailing points in the reserve if any guest feels like they have had enough.
no guest will ever be required to cycle more than they want to. If they wish to, they can cycle all the way to Cape Point. The max a guest will be able to cycle is about 35km.
9. They have the option to hike up to the cape point light house as well as down to the Cape of Good hope. If there are guests who end the ride early, the driver can shuttle them ahead so they have more time for hiking at their leisure.
10. We will then shuttle back to town via ou kaapse weg and the southern suburbs.
11. We aim to be back in the CBD by around 6pm
12. we will drop the guests back at their accommodation and bid them a heartfelt farewell.

WhenAll Year except for on Christmas Day & New Years Day and the day of the Cape Town Cycle Tour. This is usually on the first Sunday of March.
WhereWe Pick up and drop off anywhere in the city center and immediate surrounding suburbs. If you are outside of these parameters, then you will need to make your way to an arranged meeting point in the city center. Your pick up time is a half hour time frame from the time given for your area see below [we will get there as soon thereafter] 07h30 - Rondebosch / Rosebank 07h30 - Mowbray /Observatory 08h00 - Gardens / Vredehoek/ Oranjezicht / Higgovale 08h15 - Longstreet / Foreshore / Waterfront 08h30 - Greenpoint 08h45 - Sea Point / Camps Bay 09h00 - Hout bay [by arrangement - NOTE: we do not drop off in Hout Bay, will drop in City or as far back as Camps Bay]

This is a great way to experience the Cape Peninsula by means of modern transport and traditional (bicycle) this is a great way to experience the best of both worlds. Why sit in the car all day when you can get out in the fresh air and ride a bike!! approximatley 35km cycling.
